"DJ Stephen was hired for the Charles Wright Academy Spring Fling dance in 2015 and 2017. I was worried in 2017 that there was no way he could do as good of a job on the second event as he did on the first but my worry was for nothing. Stephen engaged parents and children ages 4 years up to 12 years old which is not an easy feat. Stephen helped us plan special surprise dances by the parents in advance and the night of with the school mascot so that they could be part of the entertainment. He also incorporated his ideas and activities into the agenda seamlessly. One of the things I was most impressed with is that Stephen took our suggestions for music in advance and the night of the dance without skipping a beat, something we have not always experienced with DJ’s in the past who want to play THEIR playlist, not necessarily the music that fits the crowd the night of the event. Being able to read the crowd and change gears is so important to make an event a success and Stephen has that talent. There is a way to play popular tunes without including explicit lyrics and Stephen found the balance. Stephen also added humor and fun crowd interaction between songs, as well as kid friendly activities which made the event unique and fun. Stephen was very professional in working with the coordinators of the event, he was on time and set up his sound equipment and lights seamlessly. We hope to have Stephen back again for next year’s event"
